Gloria Mabel Flores

It is with great sorrow and enduring love that we mourn the peaceful passing of our beloved Gloria Mabel Flores, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 80, in Henderson, Nevada, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 25, 1944, in Santa Barbara, California, to Dolores Vega and John Flores. Gloria is survived by her son, Richard Flores. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard, Freddy, Shirley, Doris and Lisa, as well as her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and John; brothers, Johnny and Frank; sister, Judy; and her Aunt Gloria. She will be deeply missed by all. We will hold our memories of her close to our hearts.

Gloria resided and worked in Santa Barbara, where she spent over 40 years as a CNA at Vista Del Monte, a role she cherished and where she provided care to the residents. Her legacy is marked by her extraordinary kindness and loving nature that touched the lives of who knew her.

She found joy in watching Hallmark shows, all sports, listening to music, playing slots at casinos and being with her loving family. Her laughter, jokes and quick wit will be deeply missed. Family held top priority for her, she lived a happy, fulfilling life. She was a devoted and loving mother to Richard and will always treasure the memories we shared together. You were an exceptional mom.

Please keep her in your prayers as we lay her to rest, and may the perpetual light shine upon her forever. May she rest in peace. Amen.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, followed by a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM. A Committal Service will occur Saturday, October 25, 2025, her birthday, to lay her to rest at 1:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
