
GREGORY M. HOFFMAN, 65, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2013, at home in Dayton, Nevada, with his wife Evie by his side. Greg was born February 8, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Clifford and Florence Hoffman. He attended John Marshall High School where he ran track and broke multiple speed records. Greg was in the US Air Force from 1967-71 stationed at Nellis AFB. He worked as a Crew Chief on the F1-11s during the Viet Nam War. Gregory married Roxann Del Vecchio in 1969. They had two children, Matthew and Tracilee. Greg was a talented nature and theatrical photographer, and during his career photographed numerous shows on the Las Vegas strip. Greg later married Evie Dean. Greg and Evie shared the love of photography. Greg was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Winifred, Eunice and Mildred. He is survived by wife Evie Dean (Hoffman); son Matthew Hoffman; daughter Tracilee Hoffman; grandson Trace; granddaughter Emma; brother Danny Fronk and his wife Elaine; and sister Carol Fronk. A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at Palm Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 South Eastern, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123 on October 4, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be immediately following.
