Hal Blair Petersen, born in Logan, UT on July 1, 1954. Hal graduated from Western High School, and Boxed Golden Gloves in College. He was an avid hunter.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch UT, the fire chief of Panguitch Lake and Magleby Mortuary, Richfield UT for their care and support.
Survived by his Wife Virginia Lindler-Petersen, his children Richard R. Petersen (Tracy), Brian H. Petersen, Dustin T. Petersen, Michael R. Petersen, Todd B. Petersen, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. his brother Scott Petersen (Christine), nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his father - Richard B. Petersen, Mother - LaDawn Nielsen Petersen, and his brother Todd Petersen.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm, and the is location is Palm Eastern Cemetery 7600 S Eastern Ave., Las vegas, NV 89123
