

Hariet enjoyed a long and accomplished acting career in television and theater. Her television credits included appearances on Scrubs, Gilmore Girls, Freaks and Geeks, Seinfeld, and Matlock, as well as work with Dr. Ruth. She also performed Off-Broadway.
Hariet studied acting and theater at New York University’s Department of Theatre, Hunter College’s Theatre Department, and HB Studio, where she trained with Bill Hickey. Her love of performing brought her many treasured friendships within the theater community.
After settling in Las Vegas, Hariet gave generously of her time by leading a bereavement support group in Sun City Summerlin for many years. Through this work, she offered comfort, understanding, and companionship to people experiencing loss.
Hariet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stewart, and her son, Aram. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda, and Amanda’s husband, Paul Heaney, of Ireland; her niece, Michele Schor and husband, Steve Fox, of Connecticut; her great-niece, Lauren Schor, of San Diego, California; her longtime friend and caregiver, Dolly Tucker, of Las Vegas; and her many cherished friends from the theater community.
Hariet will be remembered for her talent, strength, compassion, and the lasting difference she made in the lives of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Services in her memory will be held at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, US, on July 20, 2026, at 1:30 PM. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
