Harry spent 40 years in public education serving primarily as a school district administrator while lecturing as an adjunct professor for the University of New Mexico and Western New Mexico University. Ordained as a Southern Baptist minister in 1965, he worked as a bi-vocational minister for churches in Alaska, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of almost 51 years, Joanne; his children, Karen Cox of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lisa Craig of Bosque Farms, New Mexico, and Gerald Hendrickson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Janie Kennedy of Friendswood, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
