Helen was a beautiful soul and a dear friend. She was the most devout Christian that I have ever known. She was devoted to our Holy Lord Jesus, her family and her church. We used to enjoy Pastor Lynn’s Bible study and doing our devotions. Helen took every opportunity to share the unconditional love of the Holy Lord Jesus and the free gift of God which is salvation through our Holy Lord Jesus. She had a prayer wall covered with pictures of her family and a prayer book with letters and pictures that she would pray over. She was an amazing prayer warrior. She would tell wonderful stories about her glorious life and she was always making me laugh. I loved her voicemail greeting that said leave a message for the Printzcess. Helen was a true treasure and she is dearly missed. Our loss though is heaven’s gain and there is a huge celebration in the presence of our great God.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Mrs. Helen, you are so special to me and although I am very sad that you aren’t here on Earth with us anymore, I am happy that you have been reunited with Corky and in the arms of Jesus. There are many memories that come to mind when I think of you; piano lessons, your smile, the notes you would send me after I would sing a special during the offertory at church, piano recitals, all of your piano students hanging out at your house, meringue cookies (I think that’s what they are called) and the special day we spent together when I was a teenager. You invested your time, your love and prayers in me and it made a huge impact. I think you would be happy to know that I’ve recently started tinkering around on the piano again - after all these years!! You will never be forgotten.

My mind is full of wonderful and funny memories of you were the finest example of a Proverbs 31 woman that any young woman like myself could ever aspire too. Outside of my own mother you had the biggest influence over the grooming of my young soul for all eternity. See you real soon.....

Just this morning I was listening to a worship song, “He’s the Great I Am,” and I suddenly had a vision of Mom singing along in the presence of Jesus. I could hardly think how happy she must be to be experiencing her great reward for a life well-lived. Thank you, Jesus!
