Kathy would say, “ the biggest blessing in life was her large, beautiful family whom she loved dearly and loved to spend time with every chance she could”.
She loved doing things with her family such as going to the beach, where they stayed at a house overlooking the ocean and taking long walks on the boardwalk after eating dinner to purchase gelato. A shopping adventure or any other small event with her children was always welcomed and enjoyed.
During Kathy’s younger days, she enjoyed long swims in the ocean, dancing, singing, reading, listening to music and taking her children to museums. She would always say, “we have good memories, let’s make more”.
Kathy was a mother of eight children; grandmother to 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandmother of nine. She will be dearly missed by all. She wrote this poem several years ago for her family:
“If Tomorrow Never Comes”
If tomorrow never comes, I will know, I have left my signature on the world today.
I will know I have accomplished what was to be done, what was right.
That I did my best.
Isn’t that what life is all about.
I think, one big test.
I chose the road.
I did my best.
I went the chosen route.
If tomorrow never comes, I left without regrets.
I will have left being loved, and for you to see my smiling face, you need only to look, Above.
I Love You
