While a student at the University of Michigan, he met and married his wife, Betty. He completed his education at Harvard University and served his country proudly in the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam and France.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Ann Kamm and son, Larry Weisshart.
Herb is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jane; son, Curtis Lee and his wife, Beverly Reilly Weisshart; brother, Larry Weisshart; grandson, Ian Weisshart and family; and granddaughter Brigette Lee Wells and family.
Herb left a rich legacy to all who knew and loved him. He will forever be in our hearts.
