Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Hilda Weisbrod-Thomas, 89, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, April 14, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born in Washington, DC on December 25, 1927 to the Hyman and Fannie London. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harry London (Anne) and Milton London (Claire); and two sisters, Bea Hanlen and Edith Kassel (Herbie). She is survived by her daughter, Sue Nan Rudden (Julius); son, Bernard Weisbrod (Amy); and daughter-in-law, Debbie McNally (Michael). She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Shari Zibby (Stephen), Scott Weisbrod (Christina), Lori Bjorkquist (Erik), Michael Weisbrod-Dixon (Steven), Brian Weisbrod (Jennifer); ten great-grandchildren, Danielle, Mikaela, Caiden, David, Ellyana, Christian, Justin, Alexander, Jazlyn & Alexis; brother-in-law, George Hanlen; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy London and Sandy Kassel; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 18th at King David Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120 and burial will immediately follow at the Palm Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her family and friends.
