Howie was born on August 4, 1936 in Los Angeles CA to Minnie (nee Kechner) and Samuel Henkin and has been a Southern Nevada resident over 30 years. He is predeceased by his parents and survived by his daughter, Marla Carroll; two grandchildren Haley and Austin; and one great-grandchild, Maliyah. Graveside services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, September 11, 2020 at King David Memorial Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
