Irene Christine Davis

Irene Christine Davis (Snider) lived life with warmth, style, and a world-class sense of adventure. Passing away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 74, Irene leaves behind a legacy of deep love for those around her, exceptional generosity, and vibrant memories.

Born on January 17, 1952, to Helen (Quinn) Snider and Charles Snider, Irene was a feminist, a belief encouraged by her mother, and lived with confidence and conviction. Above all else, her family and her large circle of friends were of the utmost importance to her, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.

Her greatest passion was traveling the world, with few places capturing her soul quite like the sunlit cliffs of the Amalfi Coast or the wide-open expanses of an African safari. When at home, she expressed her creative side through her love for fashion, shopping, and interior design. She had a knack for finding clever, unexpected solutions to life’s everyday challenges. Irene also poured decades of hard work into her career, dedicating over 30 years as a deli manager at WinCo Foods.

Irene is reunited in rest with her husband, Gerald Davis, and her parents. Her spirit lives on through her family: her daughter, Adrienne Sampson (David); and her grandsons, Keen and Gus. They brought her immense pride, and they are honored to welcome Irene’s beloved mini poodle and devoted companion, Quinnton, into their home and hearts. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen Pawson (Terry); her brother, Christopher Snider; her stepmother, Susan; her stepbrothers, Matt and Marty Roberts; and the many close friends and extended family members who were blessed by her generous heart.

A celebration of Irene's life will be held in mid September with further details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's honor to Planned Parenthood.
