Irene Batalion Vigilia Michaud, age 39, of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Irene was born on August 4, 1984 in Waimea, Hawaii to Rudy and Ofelia Vigilia and was raised with three siblings, Richard, Oliver, and Reggie. She graduated from Kauai High School in 2007 and then attended KCC. She went on to work in administration for certified medical assistants and hospitals.
She married the love of her life, Justin, on September 25, 2010 at Wailua Marina, Hawaii and was the mother of five amazing children, Kaylee, Rylee, Justin Elijah, Corbin, and Teagen.
She enjoyed cosmetics, exercising, and shopping, but she also played softball and baseball and performed as a cheerleader. Some of her favorite vacations over the years included New York, California, and Las Vegas before relocating and visiting the Hawaiian Islands. Ever the foodie, she enjoyed crab legs, ginger chicken, garlic chicken, steak, and lobster.
Irene was a hardworking, loving, and adventurous traveler. She was always willing to help, wherever there was a need. She was proud of her family and enjoyed their company. You could always find Irene enamored with a good Filipino drama, wearing her favorite color, teal, and chanting her favorite catch-phrase, “Fake It Till You Make It!”
Irene was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carlos and Latina Batalion and Perfecto and Teofila Vigilia. She is survived by her loving husband, five children, parents, and siblings.
A visitation will be held for Irene on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 11am until 1pm with services beginning at 1pm, all at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada.
