

She was born on July 24, 1971, in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, and grew up as a competitive gymnast with a career that included two world titles, the last being in 1990 in Katowice, Poland. In 1993, she moved to State College, Penn., after participating in several gymnastics exhibitions around the country. She relocated to Las Vegas in 1997. In 2006, Molasky opened a Pilates studio in Las Vegas, named Pilates by Irina. Known for her extensive knowledge of anatomy, she had an uncanny ability to diagnose current or potential ailments in her clients. The words "Change happens through movement and movement heals" are displayed on the wall at the studio. She is survived by her mother, Yulia; her daughter, Kristina; her husband, Andrew; sister-in-law, Beth Molasky; and brothers-in-law Steven and Alan Molasky, as well as a goddaughter, Yulia Petlinska. Molasky was also passionate about horses of all breeds.
