Iris Arlene Ayers, age 64, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Iris was born in Philadelphia, PA to Morton and Pearl {Levin} Katz. She moved to Las Vegas in October of 1989.
Iris believed strongly in helping her community, by advocating for many local non-profits, including the Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. She was a "Teal Warrior" by promoting Ovarian Cancer Awareness. The most important thing in life for Iris were her three children. Iris instantly became friends with anyone she met, and usually left people better than she found them.
Iris is survived by her beloved three children Robert Katz, Ashley Katz, and Courtney Ayers; sister Sandra (Ronald) Watkins; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service for Iris will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, followed by a graveside services at 10:00 AM at King David Cemetery.
She was dearly loved, and will be forever missed.
