Irving Herman, 93, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. He was born Feb. 5, 1920, in the Bronx, N.Y., and was a resident of Nevada since 1998. Irving served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a retired newspaper journalist. Irving is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Gary) Snobel of Las Vegas; sons, Bruce ((Vicki) Herman of Las Vegas, and Larry (Diane) Herman of Jerusalem, Israel; granddaughter, Gabriele (Danny) Snobel-Cordle of Chicago; grandsons, Reuvan (Tamar) Herman of Los Angeles, and Zachary (Amanda) Snobel of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Shoshana Herman of Boston; grandsons, Ben Herman, Aaron Herman and Greg Herman, all of Los Angeles; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Chloe and Jayden. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 31, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial following, at King David Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangement.
