James L. Brim, Sr.

JB was born in Wilmot, Arkansas February 7, 1931 to Kattie (White) Brim and Henry Brim. He was the youngest of ten children, whom all have preceded him in death. He attended school in Monroe, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at an early age.

JB married Minnie Moore on October 3, 1955 in Jasper County, South Carolina, whom preceded him in death on November 5, 1996. To this union they were blessed with five children: James Lawrence Brim, Jr., Roland Keith Brim, Kevin Wayne Brim, Stephen Scott Brim, and Patricia Diahann (Brim) Stephens.

JB enlisted in the United States Air Force in December 1949 and retired in August 1970 as a Master Sergeant. Although stationed in many places, St. Louis is the place he moved his family to and ultimately called home.

In addition to his family, JB had many loves. He enjoyed fishing, listening to his blues and jazz music, and collecting elephants.

In 2006, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.

JB leaves to cherish his memory, his five children, along with twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
