James was born to Katherine Spivey and Cellas Hayes on May 24th, 1955 in Forest, Mississippi.
His strong, dedicated, and loving personality will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
James is survived by his children, LaShaunda Cartwright, Quanisha Hayes, Ebony Hayes, Trivinia Hayes, & "JJ" Hayes, along with his siblings, Patricia Davis, Theobald Hayes, Cellas Hayes Jr., & Jerry Dennis Hayes, and many friends and family members who will deeply miss his spirit.
A Funeral Service will be held at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, US, on September 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal will take place at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, US, on September 9, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
