James R. Reiss

James R Reiss 81 passed away July 26th at Nathan Adelson from multiple myeloma . He was survived by his wife, Carol Reiss, and two children, Sharon Bergeron and Robert Reiss. He’s also a grandfather to Blake, Siena, Tyler. He was a brother to Maryann, Reiss and Richard, Reiss and Eddie Reiss. He was an uncle his nephews/ niece: Edward Reiss, Richie Reiss, Eric Reiss and Jimmy Reiss, Marie Hinchman and Kevin Hinchman

James Reiss to know him was to love him. Every time he entered the room he would tell a joke and be the life of the party. He loved his family very much and was there for so many people. He helped people more then we even knew. He definitely liked his antics. That’s what made him who he was. He loved barber shop and every family function the brothers all got together to sing. (3 bells was a tear jerker in my family)

RIP dad you will never be forgotten and can sing again with the other Reiss boys.

A visitation for James will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052.
