James Earl Russell

James Russell, age 81, of Las Vegas, died on May 12, 2023 in Las Vegas. James was born on February 23, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois.

He graduated from Bremen High School 1960 and was a proud Marine, serving from January, 1962 through June, 1964. He moved to Las Vegas more than 25 years ago and worked in car sales for several area companies.

He enjoyed reading, visiting La Jolla, his dogs and visiting the beach.

He was preceded by siblings Shirley Boswell & Donna Konecy. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Diana; children, James Russell Jr. and Joshua (Kimberly) Russell; stepchildren, Nicole (Wayne) Solaita, Kevin Barrett and Shaun (Renee) Barrett; grandchildren, Kaili Solaita, Emily Barrett and Addison Barrett; and step grandchildren, Kaylie O'Brien, Emmaline O'Brien, Decland O'Brien and Serenity O'Brien.
