Dear James, you are gone for a long time, but you are still on my mind. Lost a great Guy.

you just crossed my mind, so I googled you hoping to get a glimpse of your face! you gave the best hugs, you're probably watching me type this out right now, if you are then a good hug would be nice :) it's been awhile.

I was walking somewhere (it always seems like I'm walking...)and I thought of something really hokey, my first instinct was to tell you about it because you'd laugh with me and tell me I'd be fine not to worry too much about my future and focus on right now instead and not be so hard on myself. It took a minute for it to sink in that your not here. I can still talk to you whenever I want, just not on a cell phone to hear you chuckle at my absurdities on the other end. For a minute, just a quick minute things were back to the way they were where you'd laughing along side me as a great friend does. I really miss you. Keep an eye on me from time to time.

Just woke up and you were on my mind. Thinking of you wish you were here.

Hi James. Missing you. I wish you were still here on earth, so many miss you and think of you daily. I wish... I wish a lot of things had turned out differently. You were and are still such a bright light.

Been thinking of you a lot lately. It's such a relief being able to see you in my dreams. Thank you for letting us all know you are still with us, and that we can still talk to you.

I am at a loss for words at this time. James was such a great friend. Having gone to Junior College at the same time as James, we created a great friendship that was quite special to me. We shared the same interests, listened to the same music, and even went to Japan together on a trip to see a concert!! I was even more excited to have shared that moment with James, when at the concert he divulged to me that it was his first! His spontaneous energy, big heart, and overall being a great guy will definitely me cherished memories. 

For me, I am most upset that I had just spoken to James the week prior to this and we were planning our annual dinner and guys night for when I came to visit Vegas at the end of June. I had even made arrangements with him to crash at his house the night before I left to come home. It was such a shock to receive this news, as I felt that we were somehow so close to catch up. 

It saddens me to no extent to have heard this news. My love, condolences, and support go out to James' family, friends, and anyone who had the opportunity to be touched by such an amazing life!

James was my neighbor.  I was very saddened to learn of his passing.  I had been away for the past week, upon my return I learned of this tragic news.  He was the happiest neighbor.  Always quick with a smile and an invite to come over for a beer.  Farewell.

Words can not express the disbelief and sorrow of this young life taken too soon.  I know the Lord watches over all of us.  In time of need He gives us all the strength, the courage, and, finally, the understanding to carry on, but to never forget; memories are our gift from God.  Our thoughts, prayers, and, especially, love are with all of you.

When I remember Jimmy, I see him chasing seagulls at the beach, exploring inside the skeleton of a Blue Whale, holding my daughter’s hand as they raced to the park swings,and playing in the water—without any shade at all-at Fiesta Texas.Usually, he had the ever present mimi in one hand and a sippy cup with “pep” in the other….and of course, there were his curls. Jimmy, or Sweet Baby James, was curious, bright, loving, and a genuine delight. And most of all, he was loved…by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
