James Patrick Zaro, 61, passed away April 27th, 2011. He was born March 17, 1950 in Berkeley, California and was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas. Jim performed on the Strip for many years as both a Lead Singer at the Stardust and as Caesar at Caesars Palace and continued to work in the casino industry until his passing. He was also actively involved in both land and residential Real Estate investing and had a passion for golf. James graduated from the University of Montana in 1972 which he attended on a full ride swimming scholarship. While attending the University he became a brother of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at the Beta Delta Chapter and met his wife Janet, the mother of his twin daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, George F. and Suzanne W. and brother George. Jim is survived by his daughters Alexandra and Sasha, brother Paul, and sisters Georganne, Wendy, and Sharon. The memorial service will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on May 6th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
