Jamie Lynn Sweeney

Jamie Lynn Sweeney, 55, a resent residence to the Las Vegas area, previously from Northern Kentucky and Columbus, Ohio passed away on April 16, 2016. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to James and Billie Woods on September 28, 1960. She found her partner for life at the age of 20, James Sweeney. They were married September 25, 1982 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1984 they would welcome their first child Bryan. Their second son Scott would come six years later, followed by the birth of their daughter Shannon in 1997. She received a bachelor's degree in business management from Franklin University. She started her career at the Advertising Checking Bureau in Columbus, Ohio, taking time off to focus on raising her daughter and moving to Northern Kentucky, where she returned to work for Allstate agent Bob Kelly, before relocating to Las Vegas where she worked for American Family Insurance agent Barbara Nielson in 2013. Jamie was a devoted wife and mother, who loved spending time with her family, decorating her home, crafting with her daughter, and playing with her dogs. She loved to laugh and sing and always knew how to make her family smile. She is survived by her husband Jim, her two sons Bryan and Scott, and daughter Shannon, as well as her beloved dogs Colby and Harley.
