

Jason Patrick Hansen, age 51, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Henderson, Nevada, following a sudden illness and brief, courageous battle with medical complications. He was comforted and surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. At the time of his passing, Jason was a resident of Boulder City, Nevada.
Jason was born on March 17, 1975, in Ontario, Oregon, to Gerald Monte Hansen and Velma Jane Harms. He spent his youth growing up across Idaho, Oregon, and California. Jason married Amy Harrison in Salt Lake City in 1995. Though they later divorced, they remained close friends and dedicated, exceptional co-parents to their three children.
Jason possessed a quick wit, a brilliant imagination, and a vibrant personality that naturally drew people to him. He found his greatest joy on the water, whether he was fishing, waterskiing, or boating. He particularly cherished the memories of time spent in Cabo San Lucas during his youth. Professionally, Jason was a highly gifted and talented mechanical contractor with a specialty in steam hydronics and combustion. His dedication and expertise led him to serve as the Vice President and General Manager of Desert Boilers and Controls in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jason is survived by his three children, Chance (Autumn) Hansen, Chloe Hansen, and Jaeger Hansen; his long-time companion and girlfriend, Jasmine Villachaize; his former wife and mother of his children, Amy Hansen; and his father and step-mother, Gerald and Sandra Hansen. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Tammy (Heimo) Kraxner, Randy Burford, Stephanie Chou, Brian (Dee) Burford, Heather Lowry, Jeff Hansen, and Jones Hansen.
Jason was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Velma Hansen; his oldest brother, David Hansen; and his grandparents, including his cherished grandmother, Charlotte Hansen.
Rest in peace, Jason. As our father, son, little brother, uncle, companion, and friend, you were loved beyond words and will be missed without end. ❤
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
