Jason Christopher Michael Singleton was born in Santa Ana California, on April 10, 1986. He was baptized as a child with two sets of Godparents. Raised in Southern California, he was very active and he always beat to his own drum. He tried all kinds of sports but winning two championships with The Tustin Cobra’s was one of his proudest moments as a youth. Jason attended the 100 Black Men of America (Orange County Chapter) for four years and graduated from Access High School in Tustin, California. He also attended Santa Ana College part-time for two years. At a very early age, he fell in love with traveling with his family. He traveled to Michigan to visit and live with family. He also traveled other parts of the United States, different countries like Mexico, the Bahamas, England, and France.
To know Jason was to love him. He made an impression on everyone he came in contact with. His smile and personality was infectious. He always reached out to family and friends. If you knew Jason, you knew his favorite color was blue and he almost always wore a watch. He had the most beautiful almond colored eyes. He loved to laugh, joke, cook, dance (boogie), listen to music, football, boxing and most of all he loved spending time with family. In his eyes, "family over everythin’", family was everything. Although he had many challenges, he gave his life to the Lord and he would always share prayers with his mom. Most of all, he loved his family so very much.
Jason leaves behind to cherish so many precious memories: to his mother Michaelyn Mitchell, his father Grady Singleton II, two brothers, Brandon Mitchell and Grady Singleton 3rd, two grandmothers Linda Williams and Carol Singleton, 15 Great Aunts & Uncles, several Aunts & Uncles, beautiful nieces & nephews, a host of cousins, and lots of friends. Jason was preceded in death by, both grandfathers, Michael Anthony James & Grady Carl Singleton Sr., three Uncles (Keith Lee, Melshunn Evertte, & Mark Singleton).
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he who gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
