Javier Crescencio Barajas

Javier Crescencio Barajas, known to his family as Javy, passed away on August 22, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas, the city where Javier was born on November 22, 1987 and raised. He spent his entire life in this city and loved being a part of the culinary footprint of the Mexican food scene. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Javier was a Chef. His passion for cooking and creating was a gift bestowed upon him by his loving father Javier Gutierrez Barajas. Javier was also a loving father to the two most important people in his world; his two sons Jason Murdoc “Murdi” Barajas and Vincente “Vinny” Gerardo Barajas. Javier loved his sons unconditionally. Javier was also a loving husband to Nayeli Mora and an amazing son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend. His infectious smile and his kind and gentle soul made him someone who everyone wanted to be around. A natural prankster, Javier liked to be the life of the party, someone who could make everyone have a good time no matter the situation. Javier liked art and watching horror flicks, but he especially loved all kinds of music. Javier will be missed terribly by his family, his friends and by his community.
