He leaves his wife June, son Cary, daughter Leslie, son-in-law Loren, grandchildren Garrett and Rachel, Sister Rita and husband Jack. Jerry and June were married for 62 years.
Jerry was born in Charlesvoix, Michigan on October 24, 1936. He attended high school and college in Santa Barbara, California. He graduated college with a degree in business administration. He served in the Naval Reserve for 8 years.
Jerry was employed by Safeway for 40 years starting as a store manager and working his way up to district manager where he managed 11 stores. He later managed 4 large districts and worked as both an industrial engineer and a Safeway brands merchandiser. Jerry enjoyed all sports, traveling, exercise, reading and the internet. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
