Jesie was born on September 16, 1956, in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines. He came from humble beginnings with four siblings—three sisters and one brother.
Having worked in the rice fields growing up, he moved to Manila on his own at the age of 18. He put himself through school at Far Eastern University while working in multiple industries to support himself.
He began working on a cruise ship, traveling the world until he found his way to America. He began working in the hotel industry and worked his way up to a hotel manager in Orange County.
Jesie eventually found his calling in Real Estate. He learned the ins and outs of the industry, eventually starting his own successful real estate brokerage, where he taught himself mortgage lending to provide an all-in-one service for residential real estate.
He moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1997. He continued his career in real estate, helping countless families find a home and creating wealth by assisting in selling their homes. His motto was to treat all clients like family, but that motto didn’t only extend to his clients.
He welcomed many into his home and made them feel like family. Anyone who walked through his doors was welcome to call it their home too.
Many people admired him for his generosity and willingness to help other people. In many instances, he assisted several others in need. He was also known as a jokester. He knew how to make light out of any situation.
He also had a very outgoing and fun-loving personality that kept him the life of the party. He loved singing karaoke, making jokes, watching boxing, real estate, taking care of his dogs, and always being there for his family.
He balanced his career in real estate while being a supportive father, husband, and a professional karaoke singer.
At every party, he would take over the mic. Good luck getting it back from him!
Jesie would work all day, but still somehow have the energy to drive his children to basketball practice across town. He never missed a basketball game whether that be in Las Vegas or traveling around the country. He was there.
He continued his support into his kids' adulthood, showing up at every event whether that be from the warehouses to the clubs, and everything in between. He was there.
His ‘figure-it-out’ mentality built a fruitful and successful life for his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife: Rosemarie; sons: Jeff Ryan (Grace), Jero and Jay Esguerra; grandchildren: Jeiden and Jeirel; sisters: Lita (John) Kjonaas and Espie (Emil) Layug and brother: Orlando Esguerra and three dogs.
