Jesse C. Paulk was born in Geary, Oklahoma on April 6, 1934 to Ruby J Hunt and Ira Paulk. After Ira died, Ruby married Morris T Wood and they moved to West Jordan, Utah where he learned his work ethic on the family dairy and sugar beet farm.
When he graduated from high school he had various jobs but found construction as his true calling. He married Lynda Lee Sharp in 1956 and moved to Las Vegas in 1963. He worked for TAB Construction starting in 1964 and became the owner in 1984. He established other companies as well including MMC and New-Com. He was active in the Associated General Contractors and served as president for two terms. He retired in 1999. He had the honor of being chosen interim Nevada State Senator in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Lynda, his sister, Claudette Palmer, five children: Paula Kay Leo, Greg J Paulk, Carrie Bonabian, Joe Paulk and Angela Stevens, 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He passed away October 17 and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Palm Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern at 2 o’clock on October 28.
