Jewel L Moyer, born May 4, 1923, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the age of 100. She was an instrumental staff member at the University of Fairbanks and Clark County School District. In addition, she dedicated her time and energy to helping others alongside her husband at Central Christian Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew.
Jewel had an infectious smile, a love of bingo and was deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Ginger and Debra; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald C. Moyer.
There will be a graveside ceremony for her on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11 am, followed by a celebration of life at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
