Jill Worthen Reese

Jill Worthen Reese (57) of Las Vegas, NV passed away at 12:22 PM on Tuesday March 20, 2019 at St. Rose Hospital - San Martin Campus after a three year battle with cancer. A Las Vegas native, she graduated from Rancho High School. While her daughters were young, Jill made a career as a full time mother and business owner and later worked as a bookkeeper. Jill had the biggest heart, the greatest smile, and the most infectious laugh and touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lynn Worthen. She is survived by her mother, LoaRae Worthen, 3 brothers and 1 sister, her husband of 38 years, Scott Reese, her 3 daughters, twins, Amber Blount and Amy Souther, and their younger sister April Reese, and 7 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Rose Hospital, the nurses and doctors that have cared for her, and blood and platelet donors.

Celebration of life services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019, 11:00 AM at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 2245 S. Lindell Rd 89102. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 AM prior to services.
