

It is with great sadness that the family of John Dorotiak Jr., announces his unexpected passing on February 25, 2024 at the age of 44. He is survived by his wife Roxanna, daughter Haven, mother Lanore, stepfather Rex and 4 of his siblings. He is predeceased by his father John and brother Raymond. John was born in Palos Heights Illinois on November 4th, 1979. He moved to Las Vegas at the age of 4 where he attended all of grade school. He later moved to Pahrump Nevada and attended Pahrump Valley High school. He was chosen to represent his high school football team competing at the state level. After graduating in 1998, John started working as a back cook at Verrazano Pizza where he met his wife Roxanna. He then became part owner of Lefty’s Pizza for many years. He later worked as a bartender at Dottys for over 16 years where his outgoing personality formed countless friendships with his regulars. John always had a strong work ethic and would often work 2 jobs so that he could provide for his family and enjoy life to the fullest. He had a love for luxury cars and loved to travel. He was intelligent and very passionate about politics. He loved sports and was a die hard bears fan. John was a selfless person who was always there when you needed him. He had a great love for animals. His smile and sense of humor could brighten anyone’s day and If you knew him, you loved him. The one thing John loved most in life was becoming a father. He loved Haven at first site and he cherished every moment with her. Although John’s life was cut far too short, his family and friends will undoubtedly carry on his legacy. His family welcomes anyone who loved John to join in honoring his life on Friday, March 29th, 2024. Services will be held at Palm Mortuary located at 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89123 from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
