John Christopher Lynch, age 53, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on January 8, 2025. He was born on October 12, 1971 in Manchester, New Hampshire. John lived most of his life in Merrimack, NH, graduating from Merrimack High School in 1989 and receiving his bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University. In 2016, John and his wife, Jenn, moved to the Las Vegas area.
John was a Scout in Pack 424 and Troop 401 for many years. He loved the Boston Red Sox and cheered them on even during a losing season. John enjoyed being outdoors, especially snowmobiling and fishing. John was the life of any gathering, providing endless humor and entertainment. His funniest jokes were perfectly timed with someone taking sips of milk or soda that would come spouting out and all over the table. He was also an animal lover and had many beloved cats during his lifetime.
John was preceded by his wife, Jennife,r in 2023 and parents: Robert and Dolores Lynch. He is survived by: his brother Daniel (Deborah) Lynch, brothers in law Troy (Allison) Watson, Kevin (Jess) Watson, and Billy Shores, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be planned for John at a later date in New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in John’s name to the American Cancer Society or 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. A link to each organization is below.
