Johnny grew up in Texas, so of course he played High School football, and loved to tell stories about his amazing plays. Johnny also had another love, the love for Jesus. One of his proudest moments was being licensed to preach the Gospel on November 5, 1975. While this was never his fulltime profession it was always his passion. Johnny was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers for 48 years. Following work was how he ended up in Las Vegas.
Johnny loved learning, writing and playing board games. He wrote poetry and bible studies and was always ready to play almost any game. He also loved to talk about anything, but especially football and the Bible. His favorite things to do were to spend time with his grandchildren and lead Bible studies.
