Jose Ramón Blanco, de 59 años, residente desde hace mucho tiempo de El Monte, Ca. falleció el 1 de enero de 2021 en Baldwin Park en el centra médico Keiser Permanente después de una larga batalla con COVID-19.
Nació el 12 de Julio de 1961 en Canatlan, Durango, México, hijo de Antonio Blanco y Ramona Quinones. Viajó a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 18 años, donde más tarde se casó y tuvo 4 hijos Karla, Beatriz, Karina y Salvador Blanco.
José vivió en El Monte California durante toda su vida adulta, estaba muy orgulloso de decir que era de El Monte. Fue un empleado de licorería durante muchos años y era bien conocido y amado por la comunidad. Todos los que entraron a través de esas puertas, se aseguró de que estaban bien tratados y siempre bromeaba con todo el mundo. No había una sola persona en esa comunidad que no supiera quién era José Blanco. José era el mayor aficionado a los Dodgers, Le gustaba ver un partido de los Dodgers y a menudo llevando a su familia al estadio para verlo en vivo. También le gustaba viajar por carretera, le encantaba conducir y visitar a su familia.
Le sobreviven sus hijos y varios nietos que residen en Las Vegas, Nevada, y le han dado tanta alegría a su vida.
En lugar de flores, la familia está solicitando que se hagan donaciones al Hospital Infantil St. Jude, donde fue un donante fiel.
Los servicios funebres se llevarán a cabo a las 4:30 pm el 31 de enero de 2021 en Palm Eastern Cemetery. El entierro se llevará a cabo a las 10 de la mañana del 1 de febrero de 2021 en Palm Eastern Cemetery.
Jose Ramon Blanco, 59, a long-time resident of El Monte, California, passed away on January 1, 2021 in Baldwin Park at Keiser Permanente Medical Center after a long battle with COVID-19.
He was born on July 12, 1961 in Canatlan, Durango, Mexico to Antonio Blanco and Ramona Quinones. He traveled to the USA at the age 18, where he later married and had 4 children by the name of Karla, Beatriz, Karina and Salvador Blanco.
Jose lived in El Monte, California for all of his adult life, he was very proud to say he was from El Monte. He was a liquor store clerk for many years and was well known and loved by the community. Working for Vics Liquor and Cortada Market was something he took so much pride in. Everyone that entered thru those doors, he made sure they were well treated and always cracked jokes with everyone. There was not one person in that community that didn't know who Jose Blanco was.
Jose was the biggest Dodger fan out there. He enjoyed watching a Dodgers game and often taking his family out to the stadium to watch it live. He also enjoyed road trips, he loved driving and visiting his family.
He is survived by his children and several grandchildren all who reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, and brought so much joy into his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital where he was a faithful donor.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30pm on January 31, 2021 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Burial will be held at 10:00am on February 1, 2021 at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
