Joselito Sison Soriano, 52, a resident of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on October 29, 2018 at the St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus. He was born on November 17, 1965 in Subic, Zambales, Philippines to Arturo Soriano, Sr. and Alma Sison. He found his soul mate and married Annie Molina Soriano.
Joey, as he was fondly called, received his high school education from St. James High School. He continued his studies as an apprentice at the Subic Bay Naval Base in Olongapo, Philippines where he received his diploma in Electronics Mechanics. In a career shift, he joined the US Navy in 1990 and served the country until he retired in July 2010. He never stopped working and got a position at USPS.
Joey was fond of working out as a retired serviceman. He continued to live a healthy life; he was into running and walking around the village and playing basketball at the nearby park. He loved good food and loved to take care of everyone, socializing with family and friends, and making sure everyone was comfortable. His smile and jokes could light up the room.
Joey was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Annie; daughters Nicole and Gwenn; son Gian; siblings Ramon, Teresita, Remedios, Arturo Jr., Mila, Fidel, Veronica, Roy, Ray, Marissa, Aileen and Ma. Lourdes; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in law, nephews and nieces.
A visitation a will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00pm and a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16 at 5:00pm; all services will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
Joey’s remains will be buried in his hometown in Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
