Dr. Joseph Dela Cruz Nacion, 55, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. Joseph was born on September 20, 1957 in Baguio, Philippines to parents Conchita Dela Cruz and Jose Nacion. He graduated from Saint Louis Boys High in 1974 and attended University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University to further his education in the medical field. He volunteered with the American Boxing Association and helped open the first level-two nursery in Nepal. He was the medical director of ACI Pediatrics in Nevada since 1998. Joseph was well known for his generosity and kindness to the community and his patients. He had a passion for cars, traveling, photography, and outdoor adventures. He was survived by his mother Conchita; son Patrick; and his significant other Arlene Nipales. A candlelight memorial ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Pastor Allen will be performing the prayer service. Family and friends may come to the ceremony as early as 5:45 pm.
