Jovencia Dagdagan Rodriguez

Jovencia was born and raised in the Philippines and had family throughout Hawaii, the Philippines, California, and Nevada. She built a dedicated career as a medical technologist, spending many years at St. Therese Hospital until her retirement. Afterward, she moved to Las Vegas with her husband, Rudy, where they spent the rest of their lives together. She is lovingly survived by her two children. Her daughter, Juvy (Ken) Ardito, with grandchildren Garon and Gabi Ardito; and her son, John (Linda) Rodriguez, with grandchildren Lucian and Lucy Rodriguez. Jovencia was a devoted wife to Rudy, a loving mother to Juvy and John, and a cherished friend to many throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, especially her joy in feeding others. Her three-tiered homemade birthday cakes and her delicious siopao were favorites among family and friends. She also had a remarkable talent for sewing, creating dresses of all kinds, and took great pride in tending to her lush vegetable garden alongside her husband. Her green thumb brought life to beautiful roses of every color. Jovencia will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends she held close to her heart until the very end.

A Celebration of Jovencia's Life will be celebrated on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 11:00am -3:00pm at M Resort Spa Casino 12300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Henderson, NV 89044. If anyone would like to send flowers, please help continue her love of her rose garden.
