He was born July 12, 1928 in Indang Cavite, Philippines to Lorenzo Quinones and Gregoria Rodil.
Early on in Juan’s career he was a Chief Engineer for the Bureau of Public works in the Philippines. Further pursuing his passions he made his way to Warren, Michigan and became one of the first Filipino Mechanical/Civil Engineer at Chrysler. When Juan retired he became a consultant for Chrysler and contributed to projects such as the Chrysler Viper and the Dakota Truck.
Juan enjoyed collecting model cars and playing mini golf as well as eating out with his family at the best buffets in Las Vegas.
Juan was a well-respected and compassionate man who cared deeply for his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Quezona Quinones, Dr. Ruben Quinones, Hercules Quinones, Minerva Quinones Java, Junelio Quinones, Rodinel Quinones, Clemencia Cardoniga and Gualberto Quinones. As well as his grandchildren Jonathan Legaspi, Jennifer Shia, Jahna Maramba , Ciara Quinones, Juan Miguel Quinones, Gene Quinones, Tiza Quinones, Michael Java, Darwin Cardoniga, Nico Cardoniga, Paul Quinones, Vincent Quinones, Gabriel Quinones, Janine Quinones, and John Ray Quinones and his great-grandchildren Jesselle Legaspi, Sydney Jane Shia and Jaden Shia. All of whom brought joy and light into his life.
Funeral Arrangements is as followed; Viewing on June 14th from 5pm-9pm at the Palm Eastern Mortuary and Burial on June 15th at 10am at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
