

Juanita Moccia, age 84, loving mother of four, and adoring wife to the late Ronald Moccia, passed away in the early hours of March 6, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Juanita was born January 14, 1938 in Liberty, Maine and grew up surrounded by a large family with 6 siblings. She is survived by her sister Janet Bucchiere of Newburyport, Massachusetts. She met her husband Ronald in 1974 while attending a New Year’s Eve party and they fell in love instantly. They both shared a love for family and decided to start their own. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. In her free time Juanita enjoyed playing BINGO and traveling. She especially enjoyed vacationing on the islands with her sister Janet or visiting Chicago or Boston to attend one of her grandchildren’s many milestones. She will be missed tremendously by her family especially her 4 children, Robert Moccia and his wife Kim of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Moccia and his wife Sharon of Lake Forest Illinois, Leanne Smyrnios and her husband Dean of Centerville Massachusetts and Jennifer Moccia of Wakefield Massachusetts, as well as her 7 grandchildren. Brandon, Brittany and Brett Moccia, Alexander, Sarah, and Olivia Smyrnios, Kaytlin Perciful (Eric), 3 great grandchildren Seth, Liam and Irelynn who adore her with all of their hearts.

There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Juanita on the 29th of March, at 2 pm, Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave Las Vegas Nevada
