Judy was born on November 20, 1945 to James and Charlotte Letten. She grew up in Chicago and later moved to Las Vegas where she raised her family. She spent her remaining years, which she affectionately described as her golden years, in Nashville.
Judy loved her family with all her heart. Holiday celebrations with them were always treasured and she never missed a chance to decorate her house for the various holidays. She enjoyed playing games, planting flowers, was an avid reader and master organizer, and enjoyed being part of a bowling league in her younger years. She was always generous beyond measure and made everyone feel like family. Once Judy took you under her wing, you were protected and safe.
Judy was a hard worker, many years providing for her daughters on her single income in the grocery business. She set an example of excellent work ethic to those around her.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Stois, and her parents, James and Charlotte Letten. She is survived by her daughters Jill Muntean (Brenn), Lisa Velo and Tina Cole (Brian), seven grandchildren Amber O’Neil, Ashley O’Neil, Donovan O’Neil, Nicholas Lanfor, Scarlett Baird, Wesley Baird (Alyssa) and Wyatt Cole, great grandchildren Angel Boom, Carter Williams, Sierra O’Neil, Jimmy O’Neil, Kayden O’Neil and Dai’Cota O’Neil, brothers Jim Letten (Kerry) and Bob Letten (Juanita), nieces and nephews, and her sweet fur baby, Daisy.
Judy will be missed beyond measure. Private events to celebrate Judy’s life will be held in Las Vegas and Chicago.
