Judy Hamber, 73, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born on December 7, 1942 in Dorchester, Massachusetts to Pinchus and Sarah Lea Hamburger and was a Las Vegas resident since 1982. She is survived by Rick Newman of Las Vegas, her loving companion for over 29 years; and a niece and nephew. Judy was world traveled, having lived in Brooklyn, NY; Miami Beach, Florida; San Juan, PR; and Israel. Professionally, Judy was happiest as a Sunday school teacher and hotel photographer in Puerto Rico. Her travels ultimately brought her to Las Vegas at the behest of her brother. She met Rick in 1987, with whom she ultimately spent what would be the remainder of her life. “Judy, I will always love you and will never cease to be diminished by your absence. We will be together again, I promise.” Funeral services are private. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
