Judy was born on March 14, 1952 in Saint Paul, MN to Jean Harris Froman (nee Brom) and Robert Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her brother, Roger Harris (Jean); sisters, Devorah Harris (Larry Abrams) and Jackie Goldaris (Bill); nephews, Bobby (Stacey) Goldaris and Eli (Lindzie) Goldaris; niece, Lily Goldaris; great-niece, Hadley Goldaris; and loved family in Minnesota and Israel.
Judy was a girl scout, a BBYO President, and graduated from Highland Park Senior High School in Saint Paul, where she was usually the life of the party. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and was president of Sigma Delta Tau sorority when she met her husband Greg Lloyd.
Judy earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin. She moved to Fort Myers, FL where she was Director of the Center for Visually Impaired Persons and eventually landed the Director position at the Visually Impaired Persons in Los Angeles. Judy was a recipient of the AER John McAulay Award - for Outstanding Service to the blind.
Then some 20 years ago, Judy followed her best friend, Marilyn Lerner, to Anthem in Henderson and began building a robust life, working in special education.
Four years and 182 days ago, Judy met Bob Cronstedt of Summerlin, NV and knew she had found her forever love. Together they partied, learned to cook, and enjoyed their every moment together.
Judy was active with the Sun City Anthem (SCA) Chavurah and committed her very early Thursday mornings joyfully to the Rotary Club. She was a champion for the Neighborhood Watch for Desert Sky, and loved working for SCA-TV first as a teleprompter and then as reporter for over a dozen interesting subjects. Judy was also a favorite English teacher for students in the Israel Connect program. She loved horseback riding, skiing, dogs, boas, mahjong and all things pink. Judy always told everyone she was from MinneSNOWta.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gollard, Dr. Ranga, all the amazing staff on Floor 3 and Oncology at St. Rose Hospital, and the hospice team, especially Susan Shapiro at Nathan Adelson Hospice for their care.
