Julia Miranda Medina-Ulrick

She was born March 14, 1941 in Clint, Texas to Apolonio Miranda and Rafaela Galvan Miranda. She was married to Harry V. Ulrick for 11 years,buy were together for 28 years.

Julia worked for The Clark County School Dist. For 28 years as a Teacher Family Aid. She retired in June, 2002. She enjoyed watching movies, going off roading, ghost towning and most of all rock hounding. She also enjoyed taking pictures. Lots of pictures. She loved animals, especially birds and horses.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, her sons Jesus Medina Jr (Debbie) , Enrique M. Medina and her daughter Lydia M. Medina. She has 7 grandchildren, Jared (Jessica) Medina, Jesus (Jesse) Medina III, and Marisa Medina (engaged to Josh Thomas), Jake Medina, Logan Medina and Kylee Medina, Scott (Jana) Johnson. Julia has two great grandchildren, Adaline (Addie) Medina and Lincoln Medina. They are the children of Jared and Jessica Medina.

Julia is survived by three sisters and two brothers, Basilisia (Nieves) Salas, Lorenzo (Jovita) Miranda, Ignacio (Esperanza) Miranda, Irene Serrano and Susie Miranda. She was the middle of 13 children. Four sisters and eight brothers.

Viewing will be Wednesday Aug 1st from 4 pm to 8 pm in the large chapel at Palm Eastern Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held in the large chapel at 11 am on Thursday Aug. 2nd at Palm Eastern Mortuary.

Burial will be at 12 pm at Palm Eastern Cemetery . Burial following after service.
