On Friday, July 2nd of 1943, BEAUTIFUL Julieta was born to Federico Angeles and Maria Pingol in the Philippines. Her parents had a total of 12 children. Julieta was one of 9 healthy living children. She was born in the Silent Generation, star sign Cancer, and a Sheep as her Chinese Zodiac.
Her brothers and sisters helped their parents with their daily lives.
Julieta and her youngest sister Thelma, would walk far from home to get water from the well and carry it back to their family. Julieta was a very strong little girl! Living in the barrio, the Angeles family worked their way through poverty with successful Entrepreneurship. She went to college to become a teacher, however, she was very much industrious like her parents and carried on that skill set in the Philippines.
Julieta was blessed and married to Miguel So. They had 5 children by the names of Catherine, Cecilia, Michael, Angelo, and Joanne. The father of her children died when they were very young, but Julieta managed to thrive. She continued their business in V-MEG animal feeding and remained continuous in the accumulation of properties. Julieta had 16 years of education and moved to America, to Whittier, in the State of California with her older sister Estrelita. She landed a job with a Beverly Hills millionaire who was an actor involved in a body building company affiliated with Arnold Schwarzenegger. After her sister Aurora passed away, Julieta and Estrelita moved to Nevada near their youngest sister Thelma and studied to become a citizen of the United States. Julieta, widowed, eventually remarried. They started a property repair and maintenance business. She was fortunate to become a Cleaning Company Owner with various accounts in real estate including work with Century 21 in Las Vegas. She too sustained to execute a prosperous retail business in Nye County, however, assuredly divorced after some time. Julieta endured life’s challenges and maintained her sparkle with her Revlon 720 RED lipstick along with the workings of her inner faith, praises to God and all Saints, and whom she called, Papa Jesus.
As a business woman and merchant, Julieta’s entrepreneurial ventures remained unfaltering. As a hard worker, she finally found peace in ONENESS with self. Julieta resided in the quiet desert in the city of Pahrump meaning “Water Rock”. Her spirit was happy in her humble abode enjoying her daily rituals with nature, spending time chatting with neighbors and caretakers, running her property business, watching her favorite shows on GMA, laughing and smiling at social media shorts on her iPhone, cooking fish and vegetables, eating her favorite fruits, and praying for herself, family, and especially for her children.
Julieta celebrated her 79th birthday in Canada with her most loving children that she always thought of. She found simplicity in life although she suffered from hypertension, injury, and knee pain which in the course of time led to a decline in strength. Looking forward to her children visiting her Pahrump home for the holidays, Julieta unfortunately underwent a stroke and was transported to Las Vegas area hospitals where she ascended a few weeks later on November 11th, 2022.
With her unconditional love and care, alongside the help of her family, Julieta produced a paramount lineage with many more additions to her wholesome family. Julieta was spiritually divine and adored 17 amazing grandchildren (2 of them are family dogs, Mushi and Misha!) and 5 special great grandchildren. She was surely loved and supported.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, sisters and cousins. Julieta will eternally be a BELOVED cherished Member of the Angeles Pingol Family.
