A beautiful soul has risen to eternal joy, as Julieta Antonio Mendoza passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 91 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born on April 9, 1935 in Makati, Philippines, she was the second born and eldest daughter of Alfredo and Agapita Antonio. She graduated from the University of the East in Manila earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and where she met the love of her life, Romeo Dinio Mendoza. They married in 1963 and had a loving marriage for 58 years until his passing in 2021. They left the Philippines to come to the United States to raise their family in Los Angeles, California in 1968. They moved to Las Vegas in 1998 to enjoy their retirement.
She is survived by her two children, Ronnel Mendoza and Rizelle Mendoza; her sister, Gloria Pabalan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family and friends will remember her radiant smile and her kind and loving spirit. Her light was calm and constant, and it reached further than she ever knew. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved Romeo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2-6pm at Palm Southwest Mortuary.
Eulogies will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 10:30am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Dr., Las Vegas, where mass will begin at 11am.
Interment will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
