He was born August 8, 1939, in Olongapo, Philippines to Cesar (Chat) and Filipinas de Perio.
Julius spent most of his teenage and later years as a musician playing seven days a week in the Philippines. In his twenties he played throughout Asia; Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Japan (Okinawa). His soon to be wife grew up in the United States when her father was stationed in Okinawa, Japan by the U.S. Army from 1961 to October 1963. Julius met his wife, Mila Chavez Delacruz in Okinawa in October 1963 where they got married just two weeks later and then moved to the United States soon after in 1965. Julius was a musician by trade and a musician at heart, picking up a guitar, easily learning any song without ever knowing how to read music. As a musician he played his heart out and rocked the souls of others with his vocals, also playing the guitar, drums, bass, and percussions from 1956 to 1999. Julius and Mila resided in the U.S. for 46 years raising their new family in San Francisco, California from 1965 to 1969 where they moved to Union City, California where they ultimately raised their 5 children. They later retired and moved to Las Vegas in 2003. Julius was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family dearly.
Julius is survived by his wife, Mila of 48 years, his 5 children and their spouses (Jeanette, Judith and Brett, Jennifer and Cesar, Jerick and Ally and Jason and Jeannette), 14 grandchildren (Eddie Boy, Vanessa, Eric, Jason Jr., Evan, Jacob, Kevin Jr., Brianna, Justina, Cesar Jr., Jade, Daniel, Jazz and Lolita) and 6 great grandchildren (Kristen, Emily, Samson, Kaileah, Jordan and Eliseo).
