June M. Clark

June Marie Clark 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on Friday, November 29th, 2013. June was born in Danville, Virginia on April 17, 1928. Upon completing school, she worked as a dental assistant in Danville, where she met and married in 1945, Daniel Odean Clark of Anniston, Alabama. They were married for 67 years. They gradually moved west, raising a family of two children and settling in San Marino, California. Upon his retirement, Daniel and June moved to Henderson, Nevada. June led a full life in Henderson, working with Daniel on numerous business ventures, traveling with friends and family and working as a caregiver for the elderly. She remained in Henderson after her husband died in July 2012, active with her church, Green Valley Baptist Church of Henderson, Nevada. She is survived by her children, daughter Tonia Marie and her husband David Pierce of San Marino, California, son Robert and his wife Annemarie Clark of San Francisco, California, grandchildren Matthew and Casey Pierce, Julia Clark, great-granddaughter Juliette Pierce, and her brother Joseph W. Hall of Savannah, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at Green Valley Baptist in Henderson, Nevada.
