She was born March 21, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Harold and Elizabeth Throckmorton. Her mid-west spirit found a west coast soul culminating in a 30 year marriage with Christian Schneider.
Kandi found her passion in customer service and her niche for helping others through her career at Perfumania. She excelled through this company by traveling, training and leading over 300 employees. She received several awards, accolades, and most importantly lifelong friends.
Kandi enjoyed the Denver Broncos, the Vegas Golden Knights and her home team Ohio State Buckeyes. She was an avid collector of Americana memorabilia, angels and friends. Her door was always open for entertaining friends and strangers at her country-style home built in the desert. She was extremely proud of her turtles, dogs and the backyard oasis.
She is survived by her husband, Christian Schneider; her daughters, Magann Jordan and Jennifer Villarreal; her sons, Matthew Hargrave and Michael Jackson Jr.; her granddaughter, Ryanne Hargrave and her beloved dog, Jax.
So many people utilize the phrase ‘unconditional love’ as if it isn’t rare, but it is. And it is also the essence of who she was; she defined it. You couldn’t meet her and not want to be a part of her world, and once you were – it was for life.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to any chosen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, June 16, 2018 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Reception to follow.
