Kathryn M Orr

Originally, from North Platte, Nebraska, she moved to Riverside, CA in 1956 with her family, where she enjoyed a career working with her beloved husband Bert as a Real Estate Broker and office manager for 45 years. She was a dedicated member of several philanthropic organizations: Assistance League, National Charity League and PEO. She was an avid and accomplished bridge player. She set a positive example for all that were lucky to know her. She loved to laugh, told great stories in vivid detail and made everyone who met her feel like a friend. Those that knew her wanted to grow up to be like Katie.

Her proudest accomplishment was her 67-year marriage to her husband Bert and the family and friends that their marriage created. After retirement in 2004, she and her husband moved to Henderson, NV, to be near their family.

Katie is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Sheri and Wally Emery; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Shawn and Paul Orluske; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Brad and Megan Emery; and five great-grandchildren Kaitlin & Tommy Orluske, Lauren, Taylor & Sarah Emery all of Henderson, NV.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be private and held at Palm Mortuary on So. Eastern Ave.

She will always be remembered and will truly be missed.
