Kathy M. Mercier, age 60, passed away in the presence of family on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Ryan House hospice facility in Phoenix, AZ after suffering a stroke. She was born October 30, 1957 in Torrance, California to David and Marie Schuhrke.
Kathy always looked back on her loving, happy childhood fondly, especially the precious memories of time spent with family in North Dakota. Kathy was kindhearted and found comfort in life's simple pleasures: reading a good book, playing cards, listening to Elvis, or indulging her sweet tooth with a delicious dessert. She loved to tease, she was proud of her children, and she did things her own way.
Kathy is survived by her beloved family: daughter Janet (Niki); her son Ryan; her sisters Cheryl and Janet; her brother Randy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A service will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary at 1:00pm on Friday, November 9, 2018.
